Sawyer, Charlene (6 DEC 1944)
The marriage of Miss Charlene Sawyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Sawyer of Tribune, Kansas, and Pfc. Seth R. Walter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Walker of Humbird (Clark Co., Wis.), was celebrated in the First Methodist Church of Topeka, Kansas, on Wednesday evening, Dec. 6th, 1944. Dr. Ormal L. Miller officiated.
Pfc. Walker is with the Gd Det. Bks. Of the Winter General Hospital at Topeka, and a furlough following the ceremony and reception gave the groom and bride an opportunity to visit his parents here and other relatives in Wisconsin.
The bride is connected with the Kansas State Board of Health.
