Mr. and Mrs. William Chambers and two daughters, who are spending the summer in South Wayne, spent last weekend at their home in the town of Grant.
Mrs. William W. Sisson of Eaton center visited Thursday with friends in Neillsville.
William Lavrence of Hixton was a visitor at the Ralph Bensen home.
Mrs. Mildred Hicks and daughter, Nancy, left Saturday evening on a two-week vacation. They planned to visit in their former home in Durham, N. C.
A very attractive flower garden of perennial and annual varieties is growing in the yard of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dahnert on West Fifth Street.
Mr. and Mrs. Berle E. Barkley and daughter, Sharon, of Milwaukee will visit her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Pischer, and brother, Marvin Pischer, and his family here next weekend.
Mrs. Carl Storm of Granton visited Saturday with friends in Neillsville.
Janet Feuerstein of Milwaukee, Mrs. John Negaard and son, Jackie, of Stevens Point were weekend visitors at the martin Feuerstein home.
Mrs. Neil Rudie of Viroqua, Mrs. John Doser and daughters, Kathleen and Virginia, of Long Beach, Calif., visited last week at the Mrs. Olive Patey and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Patey residences.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Marg attended the State Legion convention last weekend in Oshkosh. Howard Marg spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Marg, in Pine Valley and Terry Marg spent the weekend with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Soren Larsen in Dewhurst.
Jerry Gehl of Marshfield was the Sunday morning soloist at the United Church of Christ. He sang "I Walked Today where Jesus walked."
Cindy White of Milwaukee visited last weekend at the Linus Prock and Harold Prock homes.
Eddie Mazola of Milwaukee spent the past two weeks at the Harold Prock home.
Carlyn McKenzie and Roger Henings of Bettendorf, Ia., were weekend visitors at the Linus Prock home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Clausnitzer returned to Neillsville Friday following a week’s honeymoon in Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. They visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dux and left for Medford, where they will make their home.
Mrs. Elmer Anderson visited last week with relatives in Fond du Lac.
T/Sgt. and Mrs. Robert Berg and two daughters left Thursday for Travis AFB in California, after spending three weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Carl.
Mr. and Mrs. William Schwellenbach were Sunday visitors at the Arne Schwellenbach home in Eau Claire.
Weekend guests at the Albert Marks home were her father, George Uran, and her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Nelson, all of Princeton, Minn. On Sunday all were dinner guests at the Albert Tremelling home near Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Dale Schultz entertained the following at a pre-graduation dinner Saturday evening: her father, Ludwig Perushek, and her brothers, Frank and Charles Perushek, Willard; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Perushek and family, Neillsville; Miss Ann Perushek, Chicago, Ill; and Guy Schultz of Dells Dam. Mrs. Schultz will receive her Bachelor of Science degree from the Wisconsin State College in Eau Claire on August 2. She is one of the seventh grade teachers in the Neillsville Public Schools.
Misses Sheri Ray and Cheryl Sykes are spending this week at a Bible Camp at Pine Lake.
Weekend guests at the Otto Hainzelsperger home were Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wannmakacher and Mrs. Walter Stelter, all of Milwaukee. The ladies are former schoolmates and it had been 37 years since Mrs. Stelter and Mrs. Hainzelsperger had met.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dahnert have been staying for the past two weeks at the Lyle Pringle home in Alma Center caring for the Pringle children while their parents (missing words).
