Lucky Clovers 4-H (Meeting Memos - 9 June 2011)

The lucky Clovers 4-H club held its monthly meeting June 9 at the Globe Church.  Demonstrations were given by Jessi Quicker, Tamara and Taylor Thomas, Brooke Magnus and Morgan Hauge.

Our club will have a float in the Greenwood Dairy Days Parade and hand out string cheese.  We will have two fundraisers in the next month.  Our brat sale will be June 22 at Marty’s in Neillsville, and we will be selling Butter Braids as well.  Three of our members will participate in the Foods/Cake Decorating Revue June 13 at the Greenwood Cafetorium.  One member will participate in the Clothing Revue June 18 at the same location.  4-H Summer Camp will be June 22 to 24; two of our members will be attending.  July 17, at 6:30 p.m., our club will host a pie and ice cream social at the Globe Church.  Members should bring two pies per family.  The public is welcome to attend. 

Fair entry forms are due to Dan Dux prior to July 1.  Our next meeting will be a potluck picnic at Rock Dam Aug. 1.  We will eat at 6:30 p.m. with a meeting to follow.  Members can come early to swim.
