Humbird (2 August 1962)

Mr. and Mrs. Jean Bishop, with their nephew and niece from Evanston were callers at the B. H. Bohac home, near Hatfield, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Chet Bailey drove to Mondovi Friday to call on Mrs. Mabel Hart.  Mrs. Hart has recovered fairly well from her fall last winter.  While in Mondovi the Baileys called briefly on Guy Crandall.

Mrs. Laura Dignin entertained at a pink and blue shower Wednesday in her home in honor of her granddaughter, Mrs. Bernard Seig, Alma Center.

Mr. and Mrs. Harland Meyers and children of Alma Center were visitors Sunday afternoon in the Ted Polege home.

Fred Krosinski of Milwaukee was up to see his brother, Frank Krosinski.  His nephew, Kenneth Krosinski, accompanied him home to spend a week.  Kenneth thinks the farm is much the best, though.

Mrs. Tony Mayer spent Sunday evening with Mrs. Bernard Scheffer in rural Fairchild.
