Globe (16 August 1962)
Mr. and Mrs. George Oleson and daughter, Georgia, spent a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer. They visited his father at Stanley and on Monday they returned to their home at Oconomowoc.
Miss Isabelle Gord of Chicago called on Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer spent from Sunday until Wednesday at Arnold Klauer’s cottage a Pogen Lake near Tusin.
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Grap of Rockford, Ill., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap.
Mrs. Harry Geissler and daughter, Geraldine, of Watertown, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow to their home Monday and Wednesday morning the Geisslers returned to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Kalsow left July 9 by bus to attend a funeral.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert spent Wednesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap.
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Schlinkert and daughters visited with Mr. and Mrs. John Prust near Chili Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer and family were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sackett and family near Alma Center.
Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert.
Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., brought their daughter, Susan, home Saturday from St. Mary’s Hospital at Rochester, Minn., after a week of tests, but she is confined to her bed for a week or more. Her mother and sister, Miss JoAnn, R. N. of Milwaukee, were with her during her stay at the hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap entertained the following Monday evening, August 6, it being Mr. Grap’s 89th birthday anniversary: Mrs. Harry Geissler and daughter, of Watertown, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., and daughter, Frederick Grap, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Grap and daughter of Rockford, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hagedorn, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagedorn, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. William Hoffmann, Mrs. Mary Kalsow, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux, Mrs. Martha Hoffmann, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer, Mrs. Margaret Roderick, Grandfather Schade and Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow.
