Final Rites Held For Kristin Jeanne Denk
Kristin Jeanne Denk, 7, who has been ill since last May, died at her home in Loyal at 11:40 a.m. February 6.
She was born at Loyal, May 18, 1949. She attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Parochial School. Her classmates attended the funeral services in a group.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Norbert King as officiant at the Requiem Mass. Burial was in the Parish cemetery.
Thomas Loos, James Brecht, Jon Voight, and Michael Bauer, eighth grade students at St. Anthony’s, were pallbearers.
A general Rosary was said at Myre Funeral Home Friday evening.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Denk, and the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Allan (Sharon) Schoonover, Milwaukee; Terrance, U. S. Marines, San Diego, Calif.; and Diane, LaVonne, Patricia, Kathleen, Linda, Kenneth and Jeffrey, at home. The paternal grandmother, Mrs. William Denk, of Greenwood, and the maternal grandfather, George Scherer, of Loyal, also survive.
Out of town people attending the funeral services were Mr. and Mrs. Allan Schoonover, Milwaukee; Mr. & Mrs. Virgil Denk and family, Alma Center; Mr. & Mrs. Donald Denk and family, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lyon and family, Phillips; Jack Denk, Eau Claire; Mrs. William Denk Sr., Mr. and Mrs. William Denk, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Denk, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Wagner, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Denk and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Scherer, Jr., and family, Mrs. Lon Franz and Mrs. Robert Ramin, Greenwood.
