Mr. and Mrs. James Cummings and family of Alma Center visited last weekend at the Mrs. Agnes Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Bardeleben homes.
Mrs. Agnes Cummings returned to her work in Tomah Veterans hospital Monday following three weeks of absence due to an injury.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rusinko and daughter, Robin, spent the past 10 days on an auto trip to New Jersey and Virginia, where they visited relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Duane Schultz of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Duell of Loyal returned last week from a 6,000 mile auto trip to the west coast. They visited the Black Hills, Bad Lands, Yellowstone National Park, Reno, Nev., Los Angeles and other California cities. They also visited the Grand Tetons. While passing through Yuma, Ariz., they experienced heat of 113 degrees. Mr. Schultz is a member of the Clark County Highway police force and Mr. Duell is chief of police in Loyal.
Mr. and Mrs. Anton Adamec and sons, Tony and John, were weekend visitors at the Frank Sojka, Jr. home in Pittsville.
Tony Adamec, who is employed with the Clark County Highway department, is planning to return this fall to the University of Wisconsin. He took two years for service and work and has three quarters (missing line).
Mrs. Arvid Berger and four children left last weekend for their home in Lafayette, Ind., following a visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Beyer, in Pine Valley. They also visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Horehled and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Mech, in Neillsville. The Berger children spent the summer at the Beyer farm and at the Horehled and Mech homes.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Larson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Guetschow and family of Beloit were weekend visitors at the George Bryan home in Levis. Wayne Bryan of Humbird visited there on Sunday.
Mrs. Ida McGinty of Sioux City, Ia., arrived Sunday to visit her sister, Mrs. Ralph Scholtz in Sherwood.
William Appleyard, who is employed in Eau Claire, spent last weekend at the Fred Appleyard home in Pine Valley. Larry Appleyard plans to remain at the home farm until New Year’s 1963, when he will enter the Humboldt Technical School in Minneapolis to prepare for employment as an airfield traffic man.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Rentz of La Crosse are spending several days this week at the Elton Imig farm in Weston. Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart of Neillsville also visited the Imigs Sunday evening.
Charles Marden of Hewettville was a business caller Monday in Neillsville.
Sarah Mallory of Eau Claire visited last week with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Braatz and Linda in the Town of Grant.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Klapper and family of Menasha were weekend house guests of Miss Elsie Wolf. Sunday evening callers at the Wolf home were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Hantke of Neillsville, and Mrs. Alfred Magnuson.
