Mr. and Mrs. S.R. Newton announce the approaching wedding of their daughter, Miss Winifred Jane, and Mr. Jhame Joos of Alma Center. The wedding will be at the Methodist Church in this village (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.), at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 14th, 1945. The Rev. Floyd Fahlgren will be the officiating clergyman.
A happy shower in honor of the bride-to-be was held at the home of her parents, on Thursday evening, June 28, and was attended by many young friends, and also older ones. A fine lot of beautiful gifts were presented with the best wishes of those present.
