Hansen, Dell (? - 26 August 1962)
Word was received here Monday by relatives of the death of Dell Hansen, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orbert Hansen of Gardner, Mont. Mr. Hansen drowned Sunday in the Yellowstone River, near Gardner, while fishing with two companions from a canoe. Details of the accident were not immediately available.
Among the survivors are his wife, the former Shelly Mallory of the Town of Sherwood; a nine-months-old son; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orbert Hansen, former residents of this area.
Tentative plans are to have his body brought to Neillsville for burial after the body is recovered. He was the grandson of Mrs. Harry Hansen of the Town of Mentor, and the late Harry Hansen.
Several members of the Hansen family left Neillsville Monday evening to assist the family in Gardner.
