King, Roy E. (8 May 1884 - 5 September 1962)
Roy E. King, 78, Neillsville died at his home Wednesday morning.
Funeral services are tentatively set for Saturday and are in charge of the Georgas Funeral Home.

Funeral services were held Saturday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Roy E. King, who died September 5 at his home in Neillsville. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. King was born May 8, 1884, in the Town of Grant. He worked most of his lifetime in this area. For the last 10 years he had resided in Neillsville. On June 13, 1906, he was married to the former Jessie Stevens in Mauston.
He is survived by his wife and the following children: Elgar, and Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Miller, Neillsville; Mrs. Homer (Jeynettia) Tomlinson, Campbellsport; Morley, at home; Leroy, Kent, Wash.; Elliott, Beaver Dam; Mrs. Roy (Dimple) Riese, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Frank (Alice) Mathews, Beaver Dam; and Ned, Milwaukee. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Francis and Mrs. Clarence (Ellen) Salisbury, both of Neillsville; 36 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Harry, William, and Donald L. King, Duane Miller, Robert Mathews and Arthur Tomlinson.
Robert Mitte sang, "Rock of Ages" and "Abide with Me" accompanied by Miss Kathy Galstad.
People from out of town here for the service included: Mr. and Mrs. Homer Tomlinson, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tomlinson, Campbellsport; LeRoy King, Kent, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Elliott King and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Mathews and family, Beaver Dam; Mr. and Mrs. Ned King and family and Eugene King, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Francis, Loyal; George Swann and Mrs. Walter Carter, Crandon; Mrs. Robert Schultz and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Genteman, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Patterson, Taylor; Mr. and Mrs. August Krueger, Austin, Minn.; and Mr. and Mrs. William King, Berlin.
