Meier, Robert James (11 September 1959 - 5 September 1962)

 

Robert James Meier, 2, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Meier, Jr., of Neillsville, died early Wednesday morning.  He was born September 11, 1959.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville.  The Rev. Norman Lindloff will officiate and burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

The Georgas Funeral Home is making funeral arrangements.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church for Robert James Meier, two-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Meier, Jr., of Neillsville, who died September 5.  The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Robert was born September 11, 1959, in Neillsville and is survived by his parents; four brothers, Dennis, Roger, Jerrold and Thomas; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur D. Meier, Mrs. Alma Dux, Mike Rizner, Christine Meier and Mrs. Minnie Nemitz, all of the Neillsville area.

 

Pallbearers were: Arthur Nemitz, Dale Meihack, Melvin Dux, and Everett Dux.

 

"I am Jesus’ Little Lamb" and "Tender Shepherd" were sung by St. John’s School children accompanied by Victor Lehman.  Flowers were carried by Kathy Dux and Raymond Meier.

 

People from out of town here for the service were Mr. and Mrs. Norman Dux and family, Tomah; Mr. and Mrs. Louie Nemitz, Bloomer; Mr. and Mrs. Verland Dux, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Dux, Loyal.

 

Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.
