Mr. and Mrs. Don Riedel moved their trailer house to Eau Claire on Sunday, where he will attend college.
The following enjoyed a picnic dinner at the Henry Helm home in Granton Sunday: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gennrich, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lutz and family, Amherst; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Helm and son, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Helm and family, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Helm, Mrs. Christina Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Fillmore Seefeldt and family of Melrose; Donald Helm, Marion; and Miss Caroline Marg of Neillsville.
Miss Viola Gotter of Milwaukee and Mrs. Emma Reisner of Granton were Monday guests at the Raymond Sternitzky home.
Mr. and Mrs. William Dankemyer visited the following relatives last week: Mr. and Mrs. Dean Jevens and family in Portage; Mr. and Mrs. Arno Ross, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Seipel and family in Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Dankemyer and Mrs. Minnie Dankemyer in Tigerton.
Mr. and Mrs. Allen Troemner and son of Madison, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short, recently took a trip to upper Michigan and Copper Harbor and interesting parts in northern Wisconsin.
Miss Elaine Short is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short, after spending several days at the World’s Fair, British Columbia and touring Oregon.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Winter and daughter, Joyce visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bores, at Stratford on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grottke visited Mr. and Mrs. John Dombro in Wheaton, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. John Engelsman and her sister, Mrs. Alma Carry, in Batavia, Ill., in the last two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. John Dombro brought them home Sunday. Mrs. Dora Moh, who visited her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Kroeger in Hinsdale, Ill., the last six weeks, returned home with them.
