Washburn (Army Buddies Reunion - 1962)
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mendenhalls of Des Moines, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. William Wahlens of West Burlington, Ia., Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Meister of Carol, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. John McKeighans of Pera, Ia., spent a weekend at the Eugene Simmons home. It was the seventh annual reunion for the men and their wives. The men were in the army together and have had the reunion every year since they were discharged from the service.
