Langworthy, Earl (1885? - 20 AUG 1945)

 

Earl R. Langworthy, former resident of Houghtonburg (Jackson Co., Wis.), died at the Luther Hospital in Eau Claire, Monday night, from injuries received in a tractor accident at his home in Thompson Valley, near Augusta.  The accident happened on Saturday, July 28, as he was about to drive the tractor into the shed on his farm after a day’s work.  He was taken to the hospital at once, and was improving until complications developed.

 

Mr. Langworthy was nearly 60 years of age .  He is survived by his wife; one son, Earl A. of Mondovi; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond Gehres of Osseo; four brothers and two sisters.

 

Funeral services are held at the Methodist Church in Augusta this Thursday afternoon, and burial will be in the East Side Cemetery in that city.
