Smith, Arlene Mae (1939 - 2 DEC 1945)

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Smith and family, who reside on the Melcher farm, are mourning the death of their six-year-old daughter and sister, Arlene Mae, who passed away in the Luther Hospital, Eau Claire, Sunday, after an illness.  The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home in Augusta, and at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fairchild.  Burial was in the West Side Cemetery at Augusta.  The Rev. Paul Jank officiated at the service.
