Anderson, Gordon W. (13 JUL 1919 - 2 JUL 2011)

DORCHESTER -- Gordon W. Anderson, 91, of Dorchester, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Abbotsford.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester.

Gordon was born July 13, 1919, to John and Inga (Olson) Anderson in the Town of Holton. He attended Pickard Grade School and Dorchester High School.

Gordon was united in marriage to Dorothy Lueddecke on May 12, 1945, in Wausau. They moved to Dorchester, where he worked at the Bennett Daniels Lumber Co. until his retirement in 1985.

Gordon is lovingly survived by his wife, Dorothy, son, Lyle Anderson of Madison, brother-in-law, Lester Lueddecke of Stratford, and many nieces and nephews.
