Loyal (27 September 1962)
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davel and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Myre are spending two weeks in Atlantic City, N. J., and other points of interest in the east.
The Woman’s Society of Christian Service met Thursday afternoon in the Methodist Church, with Mrs. Walter Osterman presiding. Mrs. Everett Gehrt and Mrs. Osterman gave the lesson. Plans were made for the bazaar and turkey dinner, to be held October 10. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. A lunch was served, with Mrs. Garth Luchterhand and Mrs. (name was smudged).
Mrs. Donald Riley and sons, Steven and Paul, visited from Tuesday until Thursday last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Osterman.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert White spent Sunday at the Harold Lindekugel home in Neillsville. In the afternoon the Whites and the Lindekugel family enjoyed an outing at Mead Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Roesler of Thorp spent Saturday at the home of Mrs. W. I. Mack.
Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Lacey Philpott were her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Goehring and son, Conrad. Sunday afternoon the group visited Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ystad.
Mrs. Gerald Goehring and son, Terry, spent the weekend in Eau Claire with her parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Ben A. Clouse accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Walter Engebrecht and daughter, Margaret, of Athens, on a visit to La Crosse Sunday.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wehrman were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Anderson and son, Jim, of Park Ridge, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Zuege and son, John of Milwaukee, visited over the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Witt.
