Local Items

 

L. A. Liberty drove to Eau Claire Monday on business.

 

Mrs. Emma Olson and daughter Elda were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Morgan of Unity visited Sunday at the R. H. Morgan home. 

 

The P.T.A. will meet Thursday evening Jan 22nd at the school house.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hamen and children of Fifield spent the week end visiting relatives here. 

 

The Helping Hand Society will meet Friday January 30th at the home of Mrs. F. W. Laabs. 

 

Mrs. L. Neitzel and daughter Jean of Abbotsford visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Green Tuesday. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Johnson and Mrs. H. Peterson called at the home of Mrs. Emma Olson Friday evening. 

 

Mrs. Hoge, Mrs. Fokett, Mrs. Hudlt, Mrs. Neitsch, Mrs. Ervin Koerner and Mrs. Pudlas called on Mrs. Richter Monday afternoon. 

 

A larger number of folks from town attended the show at Owen Sunday evening. 

 

John Sorin Jr., who was operated on for rupture at the Owen hospital two weeks ago is reported to be much better. 

 

Mrs. X. Archambo and son Teddy of Abbotsford and Mr.and Mrs. Arnold Laack of Dorchester and the Mesdames Hoge, Foket, Huldt, Neitsch, E. Koerner and Richter were Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. Pulas.
