Jaeger, Julius (8 January 1896 - 27 September 1962)

 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Julius Jaeger, 66, Rt. 3, Neillsville, who died last Thursday. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mr. Jaeger was born January 8, 1896, in (Naugard, Preußen) Germany and came to the United States at the age of 27 (1923).  He spent his lifetime working in the woods and doing farm work. For the last four years he made his home with the Richard Schneider family, who moved here from Spokeville.

 

He has no immediate survivors, but there are several cousins, whose addresses are unknown.

 

Pallbearers were: Ervin Hamp, Fred Schneider, Thomas, and Richard Strey, Emil Kuhl, and Brian Schneider.

 

People from out of town here for the services were: Carl Beilke, Edgar;  Mr. and Mrs. Richard Strey, Thomas Strey and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Strey, Loyal;  Fred Schneider and Mr. and Mrs. William Beddle, Stanley.
