Polzin, Walter T. (18 May 1895 - 23 July 1965)

 

Polzin, Walter T.1908 Lathorp Ave., age 70, passed away July 23, 1965 in St. Luke's Hospital. Mr. Polzin was born in Neillsville,

Wis., on May 18, 1895 and had resided in Racine for 37 years. On June 9, 1922, he was married to the former Myrtle Rux. In 1960 he retired from Massey-Ferguson. Inc., where he had been

employed for 30 years. He was a member of the Atonement Lutheran Church and Massey - Ferguson Twenty Year Club.

 

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle of Racine; three sons, Raymond, Walter and Melvin, all of Racine; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Lorraine) Billington, Racine; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Melvin (Nancy) Polzin of Racine; one son-in-law, Robert Billington, Racine; four grandchildren, Lyndell, Raelene and Julaine Billington and Kathy Polzin, all of Racine; three brothers, Alvin and Vernon Polzin of Racine and Ervin Polzin of California; three sisters, Mrs. Frank (Martha) Gregory and Mrs. William (Emma) Berg of Racine and Mrs. Russell (Minnie) Uphouse of Union Grove, Wis.; many nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be held Monday, 2 p.m., in the Atonement Lutheran Church, Rev. Jerome Miller officiating. Interment will be in West Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the HANSON FUNERAL HOME, 722 Lafayette Ave., Sunday afternoon after 4 o’clock and during the evening and at the church from 12 noon on Monday until time of services.
