McMillan, William A. #2 (JUL 1870 - 24 FEB 1946)

William A. McMillan, who has resided here (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.) the past six years, died at a hospital in Sycamore, Ill., last Sunday night, following a stroke suffered a week previous.  Mr. McMillan had moved to the house on the Amport farm, from the village, last fall, and owing to an enfeebled condition, had gone to Sycamore, Ill., to spend the winter months with a daughter, Mrs. Mary Geisler, and other members of his family.

He was born on a farm near Richland Center, 75 years ago last July, and after spending several years in the west during his youth, married and settled on a farm in the town of Levis (Clark Co.).  His wife and daughter preceded him in death.

Surviving are six sons and four daughters, a number of grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  He also leaves three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at Sycamore Tuesday, and the remains were brought to Neillsville, where burial will be in the Neillsville Cemetery this Thursday afternoon.
