Neillsville, Wisconsin Locals (11 October 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wachholz, accompanied by their daughters, Miss Elaine Wachholz and Mrs. Bill Neuhaus, both of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend with relatives in Westfield.

 

Friday overnight guests of Mrs. Ole Larsen were Mr. and Mrs. Vern Snell of Mason City, Ia., who were enroute to visit their daughter and family in Colby.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bruhn and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Langreck attended an O. E. S. meeting and dinner in Wisconsin Rapids Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roland Evanson and family of Mosinee spent the weekend at the Edwin and Orville Evanson and Arne Matheson homes.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson of Madison spent the weekend with their daughter, Mrs. Lowell Schoengarth, and her family.  They were accompanied by Lowell Don Schoengarth, a student at the university.

 

Mrs. Loren Christian and Lee Ann of Cudahy were weekend visitors at the Norbert Berlick home.

 

Mrs. Mary Bolton of Portland, Ore., is spending 10 days with her nephew, Jerry Dorsey, and his family.

 

Charles Maegdzfessel has returned to his home in the Town of Seif from an extended visit with friends in Indiana, southern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.  He also attended the golden wedding of lifelong friends, Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Langenberger, in Deerfield, Ill.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kurth, Mrs. Rosalie Haderer and Mrs. Ann Ludwikowski visited Sunday with Mr. Kurth’s mother, Mrs. Emma Hauge, who is a hospital patient in King.

 

Arthur Carl, a patient at the Veterans hospital at Madison, underwent surgery last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anderson and son, John, of Rockford, Ill., visited two days last week at the Rev. E. G. Burtness home. Weekend visitors included Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Johnson and Raymond of Capron, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCalman and sons of Waupaca.  The McCalmans are former members of the church the Rev. Mr. Burtness served in Rockford.

 

Thomas A. Haugen of West Allis left Friday after spending a few days at the home of Arthur J. Haugen and Glenn Lezotte, Jr.
