Rev. Fr. Anibas of Alma Center was a caller in town Tuesday, and also called on Father Brake at Fairview.
Mr. and Mrs. S.R. Newton were business visitors in Neillsville Monday. Mr. Newton also attended one day last week, a meeting of insurance agents at the county seat.
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Terrell have purchased the house now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Iffland, and expect to move into it soon. Mrs. Terrell has been a visitor recently with her mother in Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Dimmitt left Monday for Belleville, being called there by illness of a sister of Mrs. Dimmitt’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Mueller were last Friday visitors with their daughter, Mrs. Stanley Melrose, and family near Mondovi.
Miss Sylvia Hefty, who has been employed for some time at Camp McCoy, left last week for a visit with friends in Philadelphia.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Pierce and daughter Vicki have moved to their new home which they rentely purchased at 709 Pine St., in Black River Falls.
Fred Maeder and family, who have lived the past few years on Jacob Matti’s farm, have moved to a place south of Neillsville. Mrs. Maeuder will be employed in the city and will devote more time to orchestra work. Mr. Mattie expects to return to his farm, and his son will worked the land.
