Ray, Anna (1852 - 4 MAY 1946)

Mrs. Anna Ray, whose maiden name was Anna Kleinschmidt, died at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Saturday evening; at the ripe old age of 94 years.  Mrs. Ray had been cared for at the hospital for nearly two years, owing to the infirmities of age.

She was a pioneer resident on the farm north of town (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.), in Section 17, where a large family was raised.  Her husband died a number of years ago.  Surviving are seven daughters and four sons.

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Fairview, at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, and burial was in the church cemetery.  Rev. J.L. Brake officiated.  A number of the relatives came to attend the burial.
