Anderson, Gordon W. (July 13, 1919 - July 2, 2011)
Gordon W. Anderson, 91, of Dorchester, died Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Golden Living Center-Continental Manor in Abbotsford.
Gordon was born July 13, 1919, to John and Inga (Olson) Anderson in the Town of Holton. He attended Pickard Grade School and Dorchester High School.
Gordon was married to Dorothy Lueddecke on May 12, 1945, in Wausau. They moved to Dorchester, where he worked at the Bennett Daniels Lumber Co. until his retirement in 1985.
Gordon was a member of Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester.
He enjoyed farming, woodworking and working on small gasoline engines.
Gordon is lovingly survived by his wife, Dorothy, son, Lyle Anderson of Madison.
Gordon is preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Alma Nall, Clifford Anderson, Florence Carlson, Glady Scheibe and two brothers in infancy.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester. Pastor Bonnie Jacque-Gorecki presided
