Washburn Center (7 May 1914)

Arthur Short’s horse ran away last Friday no one got hurt.  The buggy got broken some.

Rudolph Frantz found a large chunk of copper last Wednesday weighing about 75 lbs.  It is a fine relic.

Ella Brown called on Mrs. Floyd Wall last Sunday.

The Ladies’ Aid will meet with Mrs. Jim Carter May 14.

R. Frantz and wife were Neillsville callers Thursday.

Gladys Winters and Clara Frantz spent Saturday and Sunday at Neillsville.

Will Stevens planted two acres of potatoes last week.

Lillian Nelson spent Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Walter Bell.

Ed Carter called on R. Frantz Sunday.

Walter Bell and wife spent Sunday at Neillsville.
