Granton (7 May 1914)

 

Mrs. N. J. Pearce returned to Duluth Friday after a ten days visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.D. Wage.

 

Will Hubing is having a fine barn built.  He had a raising Monday.

 

G.E. Amidon has installed a fine new soda fountain.

 

E.R. Wonser and wife, Ed. Schroeder and wife, Chas. Neinas and wife, Dr. and Mrs. P.M. Ross entertained for the sidewalk fund Friday evening at the M.W.A. hall.  $1600 was added to the fund.

 

E.A. Beeckler and W.M. Winn went to Fond du Lac Monday evening to attend a M.W.A. convention.

 

Vet Marsh spent Sunday at Marshfield with his brother, Joe, who has been quite ill.

 

Dr. and Mrs. Rath entertained Saturday evening for the sidewalk fund.

 

Floyd Winn has been quite sick with throat trouble.

 

Mrs. Alf. Nonhof entered St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield last Sunday and underwent an operation.
