Sale of Badger Theater (May 1914)

Last week Thomas Gosling sold the Badger Theatre to Side & Boone will give possession June 1^st.  Mr. Side is a vaudeville artist and he and his wife played the Badger last week and while here looked over the theatre and made the purchase.  He and his wife and his partner are experienced show people and will no doubt continue and will aim to improve the high standard of pictures that the Badger has been showing.  Mr. Gosling has not decided as to what he will do, but may possibly engage in another business in Neillsville.  He and his wife are pleasant young people and it is hoped that they will remain here.
