Lightfoot, Phyllis (5 JUN 1946)
At 2:00 o’clock on Wednesday afternoon, June 5th, 1946, Miss Phyllis Lightfoot, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Lightfoot, and Mr. Leo Janke exchanged marriage vows at the Lutheran Church in Alma Center, amidst a congregation of relatives and friends. The Rev. E.A. Klemp officiated at the happy ceremony. The wedding was followed by a dinner and reception at the home of the bride’s parents on the former Anderson farm north of town (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.). About forty guests were present. Mr. and Mrs. Janke left on a week’s honeymoon trip, after which they will be at home on the Janke Bros. farm, south of the village.
