Schlicter, Mildred (15 JUN 1946)
Miss Mildred Schlicter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Schlicter, and George Staves, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Staves, were married at Fairview, June 15, 1946, in a double ring ceremony solemnized by Rev. Joseph Brake. The altar of St. Joseph’s Church was decorated with beautiful garden flowers. Mrs. William Staves was matron of honor, and Mrs. William Staves, brother of the groom, was best man. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents for 67 guests. A wedding dance was given at the Humbird Town Hall in the evening.
