Clarence Zimmerman and wife were in Eau Claire Friday.

 

Mrs. Julia Dickie of Rochester, Minn., came Monday for a visit with the Noyes and Waters families and Mrs. Bertha Stallard.

 

Mrs. Chester Woodford of the Y, was taken to the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, early last Sunday morning, ill with pneumonia.

 

Mrs. Gordon Jenswold left for Milwaukee, after a week here.  The first of September she leaves for Rochester, N.Y., where she enters Colgate-Rochester Seminary.  She is working to get her M.A. degree in Christian Education.

 

The building on the Carter farm, now owned by Loyle Anderson of Melrose, have all received a new coat of paint.

 

P.E. Peterson and son Everett and wife, of Greenwood, were visitors last Sunday afternoon with his nephews, J. Art Johnson, and family.

 

Mae Leiser of Milwaukee is spending the week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Green.  Her father and sisters are expected here next week.

 

Mrs. A.J. Walsh of South Bend, Ind., spent a few days the first of the week with her brother, Harry Hart and wife.  She spent Sunday at the Clarence Perry Home in Eau Claire.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Moos of Lorraine, Ohio, were visitors Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Waters.  They are parents of Charles A. Moos, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Waters, and have been vacationing a couple of weeks with La Crosse relatives.
