Hoesly, Henry (20 July 1896 - 26 October 1962)
Funeral services were conducted October 29 from a funeral home in Green Bay for Henry Hoesly, 66, of Green Bay, who died suddenly October 26 following a heart attack. The Rev. W. F. Koehler officiated. Burial was made in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.
Mr. Hoesly was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Marcus Hoesly of Neillsville. He was born July 20, 1896, in New Glarus, and on March 26, 1918, he was married to the former Anna Resong of Neillsville in Rhinelander. He was chief engineer at St. Mary’s Hospital until his retirement a year ago.
He was a member of Konemic Odd Fellow Lodge, No. 47, of Appleton.
Surviving are his wife and a daughter, Mrs. Roland Breed of Green Bay; a grandsons; three brothers, John in Japan, Jacob of Neillsville and Baltz of Granton; three sisters, Ann and Amelia, both of Neillsville, and Mrs. Salome Kelch of Whitewater.
Those attending the services were: the Misses Ann and Amelia Hoesly, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob H. Hoesly, Mrs. Marcus Hoesly, Joe Resong, and Mr. and Mrs. John Resong, all of Neillsville; Mrs. Elmer Rowe of Bloomer; Baltz Hoesly of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Rowe of Marshfield; Mrs. Herman Kelch of Whitewater; and Mr. and Mrs. Luverne Kelch of Hales Corners.
