Accola, Mrs. John H. (25 JAN 1883 - 25 SEP 1946)
Mrs. John H. Accola, daughter of Herman and Dorothea Zerbel, was born in the town of Honey Creek, Sauk County, Wis., Jan. 25, 1883, and passed away at her home in Prairie du Sac, Sept. 25, 1946, at the age of 63 years and 8 months.
The deceased grew to young womanhood in the town of Honey Creek. Later the family lived in the town of Sumpter and then on the farm south of Humbird (Clark Co., Wis.).
March 17, 1910, she was united in marriage with John H. accola and settled on the Accola homestead in Sauk County, where they lived for 34 years. In 1944 they moved into the new home in Prairie du Sac. She was a member of the Evangelical Church in Honey Creek. Burial was in the cemetery near her girlhood home.
She leaves to mourn, her husband, one sons, George, on grandsons; on sister, Mrs. R.H. Zimmerman of Black River Falls; two brothers, Paul of Humbird and Martin of Madison; and many other relatives and friends.
Those from here attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Zebel, Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Kaufman, and Miss Ida Zerbel. From Black River Falls were Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Zimmerman and family.
