Graves, Ethel (28 August 1887 - 7 November 1962)

 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon for Miss Ethel Graves, 73, of Rt. 1, Granton, who died November 7, at the Leahy Nursing Home in Abbotsford, where she had resided a few weeks.

 

The Rev. Paul Doering of Loyal officiated at services from the York Center Methodist Church.  Burial was made in the York Center Cemetery.

 

Miss Graves was born August 28, 1887, in Calumet County and came with her parents to Clark County when she was a young girl.  She had made the York Center area her home since that time.  She received her education in the Town of York rural schools.

 

Her only survivor is a brother, Dwight Graves, of Granton.

 

Pallbearers were: William Naedler, Herbert Free, Ed Voight, George Hales, Emil Henninger and William Eibergen.
