Mayer, LaVern R. (Military Notes

LaVern R. Mayer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Mayer of Humbird has been promoted to the rank of captain in the United States Marine Corps reserve. He is attached to the ninth district Marine Corps reserve at St. Louis, Mo. In civilian life, Captain Mayer is a fieldman for the Production Credit Association of Neillsville.
