Robb, Alvin L. (1920? - 26 DEC 1946)

Alvin Leroy Robb, twin brother of Albin Robb, who purchased the Lewis Fitzmaurice farm east of town (Humbird, Clark Co., Wis.) a year ago, died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Robb, in Fairchild last Thursday.  He was in his 27^th year.

Mr. Robb was a veteran of World War II, and spent three years overseas in the European area with the 819^th Aviation Engineer Battalion.  He earned a number of service medals and awards.  Since his discharge he was employed in Eau Claire.

Funeral services were held in the Fairchild Methodist Church Monday afternoon, Rev. F.J. Smith officiating.  Survivors are his parents, his twin brother, and one sister.
