Hardwick, Delores (18 JAN 1947)
The wedding of Miss Delores Hardwick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hardwick, and Mr. Lloyd Johnson of Loyal, was celebrated before a large congregation of relatives and friends in St. John’s Church at 2:00 o’clock last Saturday afternoon. The Rev. Geo. Hohmann officiated in the double ring service.
The bride and groom were attended by her sister, Miss Phyllis Hardwick, and Mr. Clarenc Burchell. The flower girl was a sister of the groom, Brenda Johnson of Loyal, and the ring bearer was Master Robert Hardwick. The bride was given in marriage by her father. During the ceremony and preceding it, Mrs. Will Theiler sang, "Oh Perfect Love" and "I Love You Truly," with Mrs. Hohmann accompanist. Ushers at the church were the Misses Barbara Johnson and Doris Zerbel.
Following the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the bridal party and about sixty relatives and friends at the home of the bride’s parents, and a wedding dance was given at the town hall that evening. After which the young couple left on a short honeymoon trip to Milwaukee. They will reside at Loyal where the groom is employed at the milk plant.
