Mr. and Mrs. N.S. Newkirk, who have resided in the Stanley house the past two years, moved the last of the week to Richland Center.
Mrs. Anna Putman returned from the hospital at Black River Falls Saturday,a nd is convalescing at her home.
The Northern States Power Co. has extended their lines to serve Oswald Michael’s farm. The new home of Per Picket’s was also connected up for service to operate the oil furnace and the water system while the plastering is being done. It is expected plastering will finish this week.
Mrs. H. M. Boullion went to Minneapolis last Friday to attended the wedding of a niece, Miss Jane Frances Raymond, which was celebrated Saturday forenoon. Mrs. Boullion remained over the first of the week to attend a get together of the seven sisters. Her six sisters reside in Minneapolis and St. Paul, and the wedding was an occasion for the reunion.
Mr. and Mrs. W.F. hein went to Westby last Sunday to spend a few hours with the Crume families in that vicinity, and also to attend the ski tournament at Westby. An exhibition by a professional jumper recently over from Norway, was one of the attractions of the meet.
Steve Figura is installing a number of new machines in his garage, and has a contract for a line of new polishing and buffing work. Three phase electric service will be extended to the garage to provide the power. Extra help will handle the work.
