Neillsville Locals (29 November 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Benedict of North York visited last weekend with Harvey Benedict, who is a patient in a Racine hospital.  He is a former resident of York Center.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Volkmann and her father, Carl R. Frantz, visited Mrs. Clara McLyman and her family in Duluth, Minn., last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holt of Christie were Thanksgiving Day guests at the James Holt home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Stewart and family of Grayton, N. D., and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kaczor and family of Milwaukee were weekend visitors at the Joe Kaczor home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Horehled and family were Sunday visitors at the Joe Kaczor home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Torkelson and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Amo of Black River Falls, were dinner guests at the Floyd Short home Thursday.

 

Daphne Beeckler of Granton was a business caller in Neillsville Monday.

 

Lester Steinhilber of Oshkosh hunted in Clark County last weekend.

 

Jack Barr of Delavan spent the Thanksgiving weekend with his parents, the Jake Barrs.

 

Mrs. Martha Meinholdt entertained her Canasta Club Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz and family called on Mr. and Mrs. Mirko Pakiz last Thursday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Henry Nielsen and family were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Eleanor Schwarze in Greenwood.


Mrs. Floyd Updyke, Sr., and Mrs. Edward Sloniker and family were Thanksgiving dinner and supper guests at the Duane Branstiter home in Marshfield. The men hunted deer in that territory that day.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze spent Wednesday night and Thursday at the Henry Nielsen home.

 

Aage Nielsen, who was a hospital patient, returned home Tuesday.
