Mrs. Charles Kuehl returned home Thursday from the Luther hospital at Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth Shock of Neillsville were callers in Withee Monday evening.
Mrs. Richard Rabski Sr. spent Sunday at the home of her son Richard Jr., and family.
Mr. and Mrs. George Jensen and daughter Mildred visited friends at Chippewa Falls Sunday.
Mrs. Frank Price and son of Cadott spent Sunday with her mother Mrs. C. A. Brown.
John Roth of Thorp is spending a few days at the home of his daughter Mrs. C. H. Beilfuss.
M. and Mrs. Elmer Capes and two daughters spent Sunday at the Richard Rabski Jr. home.
Mrs. Harry Thorson entertained several ladies at her home Tuesday afternoon. Cards were played.
Miss Edna Martin of Neillsville spent the week end at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Martin.
Mrs. James Devine and two children of Owen spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Frank Vanderwegan.
Mrs. Wm. Rohan and Mrs. Henry Klauck and daughter Verona were shoppers in Chippewa Falls Saturday.
Mrs. and Mrs. George Van Goider and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Calbaum visited relative in Eau Claire Sunday.
Mrs. George Peterson left Thursday for New Holstein for a visit with relatives. She returned home Tuesday.
Ruth and John Mentges of Wausau spent Sunday at the home of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mentges.
Mrs. Theodore Alberts, daughter Dorothy, son Clinton, Gladys Daily and Miss Alvina Albers drove to Eau Claire Sunday.
Mrs. Fred Schoemaker, daughter Laura, Mrs. George Peterson, Mrs. Carl Berger and Mrs. Ben Krom were callers in Eau Claire Wednesday.
The Misses Katherine Haas, Virginia Swanson, Emmeline Martin and Vienna Neineman spent the week end at their respective homes.
The Withee Card club met Thursday evening at Madsen Hall. Mrs. Thomas McAdams and Miss Florence Taubman were on the entertainment committee.
The Danish young people gathered at the Assembly hall Monday evening and spent the eving singing and playing games. All reported a good time.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Miller entertained the members of the Rebekah lodge at their home Tuesday evening. Cards were played after which lunch was served.
Mrs. Harold Tate and children of Dodgeville arrived Monday for a visit at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. John Laneville. Miss Emmy Laneville, who has been visiting at the Harold Tate home returned home also.
The Royal Neighbors were entertained Thursday evening by Mrs. Ben Krom, Mrs. Wm. Verlunk and Margretha Hansen. Cards were played. Mrs. John Christensen won high score and Miss Margaret Crowley second high.
BENEFIT
There will be a home talent play at Dana Hall Friday Feb 27th for the benefit of the library. Everybody come. The library needs your help.
