Mrs. Arthur Norman entertained at a pink and blue shower last week for her daughter, Mrs. Jack (Annette) Hagie of Marshfield. Twenty four friends were present.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoffmann visited friends Friday in Eau Claire.
George Lowe of Roberts visited here Sunday.
Mrs. Ellen Johnson of Wausau visited in Neillsville last weekend. She took her mother, Mrs. Oluf Olson, to Abbotsford for a visit at the Lowell Dorn home.
William Holt of River Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Zager and family of Thorp were weekend visitors at the Albert Holt home.
Mrs. Agnes Cummings slipped in her yard last week and fractured her left wrist.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Essig and daughter of Washington, Ill., visited Thursday at the Roger Ingold home. They were accompanied by Mrs. Lizzie Essig and Mrs. Mary Spring, who remained to spend 10 days with their daughter and sister.
Sunday dinner guests at the Marvin Naedler home near Granton were Mr. and Mrs. Roger Ingold and Roger, Jr., and their guests from Washington, Ill.
Mrs. Jessie Richmond is home from Marshfield hospital, where she underwent tests and observation.
Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Miller and family of Chicago, Ill., spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Elsie Beilfuss, and visited the Lowell Schoengarth family. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Beilfuss and son spent the weekend with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Seif and family of Wisconsin Rapids visited Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Art Imig.
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lewis left Sunday for Mountain Home, Ida., where he will do ranger work. Jerry recently was discharged from military service. He and his wife had spent two weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Granville Lewis.
Thursday evening supper guests at the Charles Hubing home were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacob and Charlene of Christie, and Miss Luann Hubing and Bill Hoffman of Chicago, Ill.
Sunday visitors at the Max Statz home were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Kraemer and children of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Anton Statz of Alma Center. Mr. Statz recently returned from the hospital and is recovering rapidly.
Mrs. Harry Bedell entertained several little friends of her daughter, Patsy, Monday afternoon in honor of Patsy’s third birthday. Patsy also was honored guest Sunday at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Garald Hart, who entertained the Bedell family; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Burr and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hart and two children.
