Greenwood (20 December 1962)

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin left Monday evening for San Diego, Calif., where they will spend the winter with their children, William Catlin and Mrs. Ivan Blaettler, and their families.

Donna Krainz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz, Mary Jo Mast, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mast, and Kathleen McConnell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James McConnell, students at St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing in Marshfield, spent the weekend here.  They were accompanied to Marshfield Sunday by Mrs. Val Krainz and Mrs. John Kaltinger, who visited friends in the hospital.

Members of the Cox family held their Christmas gathering Sunday at the home of Mrs. Minnie Cox.  Those present were her children and grandchildren, Evelyn Cox of Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Jerrold Kuester and daughter, Susan, of Eau Claire; and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox.

The Canasta club met December 12 at the home of Mrs. Alma Mason. The group will hold their next meeting at the home of Mrs. Frances Hinker Wednesday afternoon.

The Walther League of Trinity Lutheran Church held its meeting and had supper in the church Sunday afternoon, after they decorated the church grounds and went caroling.
