Rev. Joseph L. Brake of the Fairview Church, was a patient at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire the fore part of the week, where he had a bone growth removed from his nose. He will be on duty Sunday as usual.
The interior of the drug store has been newly decorated, ceiling, walls and woodwork. The fixtures are to be newly finished, and new lights installed. Francis Johnson and Art Laffe did the painting work.
Mrs. John Michael, Mrs. Dora Kelsh, Mrs. Fred Trachsel, Mrs. Angus Flood, Rev. and Mrs. Hohmann are scheduled to attend the spring meeting of the Wausau Region Guild of the Evangelical and Reformed Church at Athens this Thursday.
Dr. W.F. Briney of the Douglas Park Hospital, Chicago, with his son and daughter, were callers at this office last Friday, renewing old acquaintance with me. The doctor and family were making an early season trip to Wissota, where they have a summer house.
