Elmhorst, Rosemary Hope (Marriage - 15 December 1962)
The Missionary Baptist Church in Greenwood was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Rosemary Hope Elmhorst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Elmhorst of Rt. 1 Neillsville and Ronald Lee McBride, Rt. 2, Loyal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Winiford Lee of Rt. 1, Loyal. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Stephen Sonmor before an altar adorned with bouquets of feathered daisies.
Mr. Elmhorst presented his daughter in marriage. She was attired in a floor length lace over satin gown with full bouffant skirt and Basque waist. A fingertip veil was attached to a pearl crusted crown. She carried a white Bible, topped with red roses and white chrysanthemums.
Miss Dorothy Webster was her attendant. Mike Elmhorst was bestman. Ushers were Roy Elmhorst of Madison and Eldred Elmhorst of Minneapolis, Minn.
Fifty guests attended a reception held in the church parlors.
Mr. and Mrs. McBride have returned from a wedding trip to Madison and are residing in Granton, Mr. McBride is employed on his father’s farm.
