Finder, Fred Carl (17 February 1892 - 17 December 1962)
Funeral services will be conducted this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Georgas Funeral Home for Fred Carl Finder, 70, of TR. 2, Neillsville, who died Monday while ice fishing on Lake Arbutus. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. Finder was born February 17, 1892, in Dane County, the son of the late Ludwig and Cecelia (Kazenbach) Finder. He attended schools in Clark County and engaged in farming for several years. Following the death of his wife the former Anna Dormandy, in 1940, he worked a various jobs. For the last several summers he had gone to Montana to work in the harvest fields.
He is survived by a son, Robert Finder of Sandusky, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Meske of Marshfield; Cecelia and Bertha Finder, both of Neillsville; and a brother, August Finder, of Neillsville. Four grandchildren also survive.
Added note: He was preceded in death about a month ago by his brother, William Fred Finder.

Pallbearers were: Charles Oldham, Ervin Holub, Arthur Ehlers, Fred McCarty, Tom and John Yndogliato.
