Williams, Alfrieda (14 September 1887 - 21 December 1962)
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday from the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton for Miss Alfrieda Williams, 75, of Rt. 1, Granton, who died Friday following a heart attack suffered while doing barn chores. The Rev. L. E. Schreiber of Westfield officiated. Burial was made in Windfall Cemetery.
Miss Williams was born September 14, 1887, in the Town of Grant, on the farm that had been her lifelong home. She worked for 16 years as a clerk in a store in Granton and assisted her two sisters in the operation of the farm.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Granton.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Elenora Williams of Rt. 1 Granton, and several cousins.
Added note: She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Norma Vandeberg in October of this year.
Pallbearers were: Lucien and Armin Moh, Ed and Walter Schlinsog, Clarence and Stanley Sternitzky.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton.
