Kurth (7 January 1910)
Earnest Ayers postponed harvesting ice until next week on account of the storm.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Scharf attended church New Years Day.
Fred Kier drove to Granton Sunday.
Miss Hulda Schoengarth is the proud possessor of a fine gold watch, a Christmas present from her father.
Grandma Kalesse is reported to be very sick.
Herman Gluch and sister Ida are home from Milwaukee. Herman held a position as motorman on the street car there.
This vicinity was well represented at the Fire Insurance meeting at Granton Tuesday.
We notice that Dan and August Gluch and Henry Garbisch are hauling milk to the Granton factory now. What’s the matter with the E. H. Tucker Co.? Didn’t they hand out calendars?
