Fraizer, Mary (01 SEPT 1956
The marriage of Miss Mary Carmelita Fraizer, daughter of Mr. Thomas R. Fraizer Sr. and the late Mrs. Fraizer, to Duane Schwieso, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwieso, Loyal, was solemnized Saturday, September 1, in the Assumption Church in Topeka, Kansas.
Msgr. Eugene F. Vallely performed the ceremony. The altar wa decorated with peach-colored gladioli and yellow and white pompom chrysanthemums.
John Dale, organist, and Miss Patricia Mary McCarthy, soloist, provided the music.
The bride wore a gown of lace and nylon tulle over slipper satin. She carried a prayer book topped with a white orchid and white feathered carnations.
Miss Theresa Marie Fraizer, sister of the bride, bridesmaid, wore a gown of lace over mint green taffeta with a matching picture hat. She carried a colonial bouquet of bronze chrysanthemums with bronze pompoms.
Terry Schwieso, brother of the groom, was best man. Thomas R. Fraizer Jr., brother of the bride, and George Hill ushered.
Following the ceremony a breakfast was given for the wedding party and family at the bride’s home. The reception was held at 3 p.m.. Assisting were Miss Erma Gagnon, Miss Mildred Kishko and Miss Angelia Pokorny.
The couple will be at home at 916 North Jackson.
Mrs. Schwieso was graduated from Hayden High School and is employed by the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
Mr. Schwieso was graduated from Janesville High School, Janesville, Wisconsin and is stationed with the U.S. Air Force, Topeka.
