Kreuser, Edwin (26 APRIL 1890 - SEPT 1956)
Edwin Kreuser, 66, suffered a fatal heart attack last Thursday at about 4:30 p.m. at his home in the city.
He was born in West Bend, April 26, 1890. He came here with his parents in 1906 and resided on his parents farm in the south part of Loyal.
He was married to Thresa Zenz, January 10, 1912 at Loyal after living in various places. They returned to Loyal 14 years ago and have since then made their home here.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Tony (Margaret) Lindner, Greenwood, and Mrs. Al (Ruth) Goetz, Milwaukee; and 19 grandchildren. Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Anthont’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Norbert King officiated and interment was in the parish cemetery. A Holy Name Society and general rosary were held Sunday evening at the Myre Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Herbert Braun, Norval Hug, Percy Voight, Andrew Lindner, Frank Degenhardt, and William Theisen, Jr.
Among the out of town people who attended the services were Mr. and Mrs. Al Goetz and children, Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Krueser, Marcus Krueser, Mrs. Helen Schmitz, Mr. and Mrs. Medard Schmitz, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krueser, Mrs. Walter Buehler, Mrs. Chris Brahm, all of Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Tony Lindner and children, Greenwood; Mrs. Pearl Kreiser, Wausau; Mrs. A. Montgomery and Mrs. Michalek, Rhinelander; Mrs. Margaret Brady, Miss Ann Patterson, Pierce Patterson, Herbert Patterson,
Mr, and Mrs, Frank Zenz, Mr. and Mrs. Alphonse Zenz, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tuckwood, Mr. and Mrs, Leo Zenz, Mr, and Mrs. Cel Pink, Mike Pink, and Mr. and Mrs. John Ertz, all of Lanchester.
