Melcher, Nicholas (1886? - 25 NOV 1947)
Nicholas Melcher of Fairchild, a half-brother of Mrs. Henry M. Boullion, died quite suddenly at the Krohn Hospital Tuesday afternoon of last week. He was in his 61st year, and was an employee of the Omaha Railroad for 35 years. He had retired some time ago on a disability.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Fairchild Friday afternoon, Rev. F.J. Jordan of Eau Claire, officiating, and burial was in the Fairchild Cemetery.
Mourning his death are his widow, two half-brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Melcher of Beloit; and seven half-sisters, Mrs. F. young and Mrs. Art Pohl of Minneapolis; Mrs. Roy Raymond, Mrs. Frank Koller, Celia and Beatrice, of St. Paul, and Mrs. Henry Boullion of this village.
